Animecon 2/3 Saturday

Päätin ottaa conin ajan itseäni niskasta kiinni ja oikeasti räpsiä niitä kuvia ettei taas harmita, ja nyt niitä on koko viikonlopulta kevyet 153 :D Kaikkia en jaksa rajailla tms koska niitä on niin paljon, ja aika paljon pistän niitä tännekin, ottakaa tämä varoituksena ;)

I decided to take as many pictures of the convention as possible so I won't regret again later, and now I have a weekend total of 153 :D I won't crop etc all of them since there is a lot, and I'll put many here as well, take this as a warning ;)

Oltiin matkalla kymmenen aikaan joten avajaiset meni ohi, mutta ei se haittaa.

We were on our way at 10 so we missed the opening, but that's okay.

Lauantain asua koordatessa pidin mielessä päivän kuumuuden ja sen VALTAVAN MÄÄRÄN populaa conitalossa. Paita Taobaosta (merkkilappu on kiinaa joten en tiedä enempää), hame itsetehty, sukat ebay, kengät kirpparilta, laukku Jawbreaker. Hameen printti on Liisa ihmemaassa, joten halusin kellolaukun ja mulla on pupukoru, mutta se ei ihan näy xD Kävin myös valokuvauspisteellä, mutta varmasti menee aikaa ennen kuin saan ne kuvat, heillä on tuhansia kuvia mitä käydä läpi.

My Saturday outfit was coordinated keeping in mind the heat of the day and the MASSES of people inside. The shirt is from Taobao (tag is Chinese so that's all I got), skirt made by me, socks ebay, shoes second hand, bag Jawbreaker. The print in the skirt is Alice in Wonderland, so I wanted a clock bag and have a bunny-pendant, but you can't really see it xD I went to the photo area as well, but it will be a while before I get those photos, I bet they have thousands to go though.

Mun kampaus. Halusin sen lähinnä pois niskasta enkä halunnut käyttää siihen tunteja aikaa, joten nuttura on lopputulos.

My hair. I mostly wanted it out of my neck but didn't want to spend hours on it, so a bun it was.

Näin niin paljon ihmisiä! Suurimman osan vain tunnistin enkä uskaltanut mennä puhumaan, mutta koska tunsin Sasetarin ennestään puhuin hänen kanssaan ja ja Momon kanssa oli pakko saada yhteiskuva! Nättinä niin kuin aina ~

I saw so many people! Most I just recognised and didn't have the courage to speak to, but since I knew Sasetar from before I talked to her, and had to get a photo with Momo! Pretty as always ~

Järkkäsin myös pienen miitin conin yhteyteen.

I also arranged a small meet-up at the convention. 

Niin kuin conimiiteissä tuppaa käymään, kaksi lähti aikaisin ja yksi tuli myöhässä :D Menimme pieneen kahvilaan, ja oli kiva tavata uusia lolitoja! ^^

As it is with convention meet-ups, two left early and one came late :D We went to a small cafe, and it was fun meeting new lolitas! ^^

Animecon-powers, activate!

Yritin tuhlata mahdollisimman vähän (säästän kalliimpaa lolitaa ja autojuttua varten), mutta ostin kuitenkin jotain ekana päivänä. Tärkein oli kuvassa vilahtanut viuhka, se pelasti henkeni.

I tried to spend as little as possible (I'm saving for more expensive lolita stuff and a car-thing), but I did buy something the first day. The most important was the fan, it saved my life.

Fluxx-korttipelin, olen pelannut eri versiota ennen ja se oli tosi hauska. Lisäksi sain lolita-flyereita, Helloconiin olen varmasti menossa! Olinhan kahdessa ensimmäisessäkin ;)

A cardgame called Fluxx, I've played a different version and it was really fun. I also got lolita flyers, I'm absolutely going to Hellocon! After all, I was in the first two ;)

Kun näin tämän, mun oli pakko ostaa tämä poikaystävälle. Me molemmat fanitetaan Dragonballia, joten oli pakko.

When I saw this, I had to buy it for my boyfriend. We're both huge Dragonball fans, so I just had to. 

Conin jälkeen suuntasimme Puijon tornille.

After the convention was over, we headed to a tower called Puijon torni.

"So pretty I want it all"

Luovuin lolitasta, mutta Kuroshitsuji-paita ja korvikset jatkaa tapahtuman henkeä.

I gave up lolita mut the Kuroshitsuji t-shirt and earrings keep the convention feeling.

Tornin jälkeen suunnistimme tapahtuman jatkoille. Kuopio on kyllä kaunis kaupunki <3

Oli muuten hiukan hassua nähdä kun cossaajat ja muu animekansa tanssi. Fursuitissa taisi tulla aika kuuma. Musiikki oli kyllä pettymys, tanssisin kolme biisiä mitkä tunnistin mutta muuten soi Alehandroa ja niin vahvasti bassolla muokattuja animebiisejä etten tunnistanut alkuperäiseksi.

It was way weird to see cosplayers and other anime people dancing. I bet fursuits were hot. The music was a let down, I danced three song I rocognised but otherwise it was Alehandro ans so much bass-filled songs I couldn't spot where the song was from.

Join yhden siiderin ja vähän aikaa oli hauskaa, mutta lähinnä sain taas todeta etten viihdy baareissa. Silti päivä oli menestys ja mulla oli tosi kivaa!! ^^

I had a cider and for a while had fun, but was mostly just reminded how I don't like bars. Still, the day was very successful and I had tons of fun!! ^^

Animecon 1/3 (boring)

Perjantaina olin töissä, joten emme päässeet heti aamulla lähtemään. Töiden jälkeen keräsimme kolmen hengen porukkamme kasaan eri puolilta Turkua ja matka alkoi. Olin herännyt jo varttia yli viisi, joten vaikka ajoin suuren osan matkasta, viimeinen pätkä piti delegoida muille.Perillä olimme vasta kymmenen aikaan.

I had work on Friday, so we couldn't leave in the morning. After work we assembled out three soul fellowship from different sides of Turku and begun our journey. I had woken up at 5:15am so even as I drove most of the way, I had do delegate the last stretch to others. We arrived as late as 10pm.

Yövyimme kaverilla, ja heillä oli viisi kissaa! Spämmään tähän kuvia, olkaa hyvä. Eipä perjantaista muuta, mutta pilkon postauksen päivien mukaan osiin, ettei tule jäätävän pitkää juttua.

We stayed at a friends house, and they has five cats! I'll spam photos here, you're welcome. There was nothing else on Friday really, but I'll break the posts by days so it won't be a massively long post.

Ja koska tämä on animecon-postaus, tähän sopii animehöpinää? Maratoonasin hiljattain Code Geass: Lelouch of the rebellionin molemmat kaudet eli 50 jaksoa, ja oli muuten hyvä! Vaikka kyseessä on mecha-sarja, vertaisin sitä Death Noteen: molemmissa on maailmaa fiksumpi päähenkilö (Leulouch vi Britannia ja Yamani Light), joka saa mystisen voiman minkä avulla he alkavat muokkaamaan maailmaa mieleisekseen. Molemmissa oli sama tunnelma, valtavasti juonenkäänteitä ja (kyllä, mielestäni molemmissa oli) hyvät loput. Nyt pitää katsoa Death Note uudestaan (taas), että pystyn päättämään, kumpi oli parempi. Molemmat kyllä ovat TOP10-listallani.

And since this in an animecon post, anime rant is relevant? I recently marathoned both seasons of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion (total 50 episodes), and it was good! Even though it's a mecha series, I would compare it to Death Note: both had a protagonist who is smarter than the rest of the world (Lelouch vi Britannia and Yamani Light), who gain a mystical power with which they start to mold the world to their liking. Both had the same atmosphere, massive amounts of twists and (yes, I think both had) a good ending. Now I have to re-watch Death Note (again) to decide which show is better. Both still are in my TOP10.

New things

Käytiin kattomassa Näin koulutat lohikäärmeesi 2, ja leffateatterissa oli ihana iso Toothless! <3 

We went to see How to train your dragon 2, and the movie theater had a lovely Toothless! <3

Oli muuten tosi hyvä leffa, niin kuin oli ykkönenkin. Suosittelen. :) Ja sitten ostoksiin.

It was a really good movie, as was the first one. I recommend. :) And then onto new things.

Uusi mekko! Second hand, alunperin Fan + Friendiltä. Oi tämä istuu kuin hanska ja peittää polvet, jee ~ Ja väri on todella nätti, tumman punainen - ja taidatte tähän mennessä jo tietää, että tämä musta printti on unelma. Rakastan tätä mekkoa hurjasti. Olen niin onnekas että omistan sen nyt ~ 

A new dress! Second hand, originally fron Fan + Friend. Ah this is perfect fit, and covers my knees, yay ~ And the color is really pretty, dark red - and I think you know by now that this black print is a dream come true. I love this dress to bits. So lucky to have it now ~ 

Ja musta hame! Tämäkin on second hand, alunperin Bodylinelta. Tämä on loppuunmyyty mustana, olen halunnut tätä pitkään ja nyt minulla on se ~ Olen jo vähän aikaa halunnut tietynlaista mustaa hametta: sellaista joka on kokomusta (koska mulla on hameita missä on valkoista tai punaista mutta pari ihan vain mustaa) ja niin täynnä yksityiskohtia kuin inhimillisesti vain on mahdollista. Ja tämä on molempia. Saatan lisätä helmaan mustaa pitsiä tuomaan pikkuisen lisäpituutta, muttei se nytkään ole liian lyhyt. Tykkään myös korkeasta vyötäröstä, mulla on paitoja mitkä tarvitsee korkeavyötäröisen hameen näyttääkseen hyvältä, joten tämä sopii hyvin niiden kanssa.

And a black skirt! Also second hand, originally Bodyline. This is sold out in black and I've wanted it for so long, and now I have it as well ~ I've wanted a black skirt for a while; one that is only black (for I have many with white or red but few whole black ones) and as full of details as humanly possible. And this is both. I might add black lace to the hem to give it a wee bit more length, but it's not too short. I also love the high waist, I have shirts that need it look good so this goes well with them.

Kaikki ostokseni ovat itseasiassa käytettyjä, nämä paidat ostin kirpparilta ja sovitan ne lolitaan. Rakastan tämän korkea kaulusta ja hihan nappeja! Tämä on kyllä liian iso joten joudun kaveltamaan sitä, mutta onpahan tilaa hartioilleni. Monet kauluspaidat ovat liian tiukkoja hartioista joten käsiä on vaikea liikuttaa... :( Loistava paita, kun hintaa oli 2,5€.

All new things are second hand, actually. These shirts are from a flea market (or a thrift store, call it what you will) and will work with lolita. I love the high collar and sleeve buttons on this one! It's too big though so I'll have to take it in, but at least it allows room for my shoulder. A lot of collar shirts are way too tight on my shoulders so it's hard to move my arms... :( Gorgeous shirt for 2,5€.

Toinen musta paita (koska mullahan ei niitä vielä ole) shifongista (ei niitäkään nope ei mulla), mukavan kevyt kesään. Tykkään hihoista mutta kaulus on tylsä, pitää varmaan keksiä siihen jotain jännää. En tiedä vielä. Maksoi 1,5€.

Another black shirt (because I have none of those already no) in chiffon (not those either no not me), nice and light for summer. I like the sleeves but the collar is boring, I might to something to it. Don't know yet. Cost me 1,5€.

Ja valkoinen paita mitä oikeasti tarvitsen, valkoinen on väri mitä haluan enemmän mutta omistan vähän. Tämä on vähän tylsä ja todella ryppyinen, mutta masoi vain 1,5€ joten tuli kanssani kotiin. Sopii varmaan yksinkertaiseksi blouseksi jonkun JSK:n alle. Tämä on myös liian iso, joten kavennan tätäkin.

And a white shirt which I actually do need, white is something I want more of and have very little. This is a bit boring and very wrinkly, but since it also cost only 1,5€, it came home with me. With a nice JSK it can work as a simple blouse. This is also too big so I'll take it in also.

Tomorrow I'm off to Kuopio, to Animecon!!!! Can't wait ~

New hair

Kahtokaa! Mun uus tukka ~

Behold! My new hair ~

No ei kai, huijasin! :P Tältä tukka näytti värinpoiston jälkeen, aika mahtava! Jätin latvat poistamatta, koska ne eivät kuitenkaan olisi vaalentuneet ja olisivat siten kuolleet turhaan... Olisin halunnut pitää tämän värin muutaman päivän (mutten kyllä kauaa) mutta menin seuraavana päivänä toiselle työpaikalleni. Se on fiini toimisto minkä kautta kaikki vieraat kulkevat: mun liila/sininen tukkani herätti jo lievää paheksuntaa, joten tiesin, että tämä upea Miku Hatsune -tukka olisi liikaa. Joten värjsin sen samana päivänä.

Nah just kidding! :P This is what it looked like after I bleached it, and it turned out awesome! I left the ends un-bleached, since they wouldn't have gotten any lighter and would hence have died for nothing... I wanted to keep this color for a few days (not too long though) but I went to my other job the next day. It's a fancy office with the visitors coming through it: my blue/purple hair was a bit frowned upon, so I knew this glorious Miku Hatsune hair was too much. So I dyed it the same day.

Ja tältä näyttää! Ruosteinen kupari, mulle uusi väri ja pidän siitä. Kivaa vaihtelua taas, ja pidän siitä että väri menee vaaleammasta tummaan juurista latvaan.

And this is the real result! A rusty copper color, one I've never had before and quite like it. Nice change again, and I like how it goes from lighter to darker from roots to ends.

Pikainen koordi eiliseltä. Menin katsomaan kaverin uutta asuntoa, ja päivä oli aiiiivan liian kuuma täysloleiluun... Joten pistin pitsiset nilkkasukat, lyhythihaisen paidan, miniboleron ja minimimäärän puffua. Ei koruja eikä rannejuttuja, ei isoja hiushärpäkkeitä. Jotain ihan simppeliä ja viileää.

Here is a quick coord from yesterday. I went to see friends' new apartment, and it was waaay too hot to wear a full lolita outfit... So I went for lacy ankle socks, short sleeved shirt, mini bolero and minimal poof. No jewelry or wrist stuff, no big hair thingies. Just something simple and cool.

Awkwardein kuva ikinä. Tein marjapiirakan tuliaisiksi. Oli herkkua.

The most awkward photo ever. I made a berry pie to take with me. Was yummy.

Niin söpöjä!

Adorable things!

Tänään kävin poikaystäväni äidin luona ja leivoin vadelmapiirakan (ei kuvaa mutta herkkua oli) tuliaisiksi. Tässä kiiressä otettu, sumea asukuva. Paita kirpparilta, mekko Surface Spell ja varjoihin hukkuvat kengät myös kirpparilta. Tuuli tappoi kiharani, otin kuvan illalla.

Today I visited my boyfriends mum and baked a rasberry pie (no photo but it was yummy) to take with me. Here's a hasty, blurry outfit photo. Blouse second hand, dress Surface Spell and the shoes lost in shadows are also second hand. Wind killed my curls, I took this in the evening.

Hänen pikkuinen koiruli :3 Hiusteni väri näkyy tässä aika hyvin, ja ne pitää värjätä - taas. Ensi kerralla teen kyllä jotain erilaista.

Her little doggy :3 This shows my hair color pretty well, and I have to dye it - again. I'll do something different next time though.

I made a raisin and date bundt cake. And it was good. I really don't have the energy to write more, luckily I'll have some free time next week - and animecon! Hohoho ~
