Mulla on Alice and the Pirates mekko! Yay ^^ Tilasin sen Lacemarketista, hintaa tuli 170 dollaria eli ~130 euroa, ja on kyllä ihana. Sain kaupan päälle suloisen kissakoristeen, joka sopii mekon kanssa tai johonkin muuhun koordiin. :3

I have an Alice and the Pirates dress! Yay ^^ I ordered it from Lacemarket, it was 170 dollars or ~130 euros, and it's adorable. I also got a kitty accessory for free, it matches the dred and can also be udes in different coords. :3

Mekko on inan lyhyt (95cm) niin kuvassa on alushame, mutta ajattelin pidentää tätä vaikka mustalla shifongilla.

The dress is a tiny bit short (95cm) so in the photos I have ab underskirt but I'm thinking about adding black chiffon and making it longer. 

Mulla on paljon kirjoitettavaa ja kuvia näytettävänä mutta aika ei riitä kaikkeen mitä haluan ja mitä pitää tehdä, mutta päivitän taas pian!

I have a lot to write about and photos to show but I'm running out of time to do all the things I want and have to do, but I'll update soon!

Noniin, nyt kun Lolita project on ohi ja kameran kanssa on tultu harjoiteltua, on aika ladata videoita omalle kanavalle! ^^ Pääpaino on budjetti / opiskelijahintaisella lolitalla, eli esittelen ja arvostelen taobao-brändejä, lolisopivaa offbrandia ja kerron aina mistä minkäkin ostin ja mihin hintaan. OotD eli Outfit of the Day videoita on pyydetty joten niitä teen myös, mutta pääopaino on DIY videoilla. Joko tehdään alusta asti (milloin näytän miten tein kaavat) tai tuunataan offbrandia lolisopivaksi, tai sitten muokkaillaan esimerkiksi kavennetaan paitoja. Mitä kanavalla EI OLE: meikkitutoriaalit (koska en meikkaa, allergiat) sekä brändipainotteinen sisältö. Ostin juuri käytettynä kaksi brändimekkoa, mutta ne ovatkin sitten ainoat mitä omistan eikä lisää ole lähiaikoina tulossa. Eli arvosteluja, asuvideoita, ompeluprojekteja ja mitä muuta loliaiheista satunkin sitten tekemään. Kurkatkaa ihmeessä video ja kommentoikaa / esittäkää toiveita tai fiiliksiä :D

Introduction to the channel

Okay, now that the Lolita project is over and I've played around with my camera, it's time to start uploading videos to my own channel! ^^ The main focus in on budget / affordable lolita, so I'll be reviewing taobao-brands, loliable offbrand and always tell where I got which item and the price for it. OotDs (Outfit of the day) has been requested so I'll be making those too, but the main thing will be DIY videos. We'll either make things from scratch (and I'll show you how to make the patterns) or modify offbrand to be loliable or other things, such as resizing a blouse etc. What you WON'T see are make-up tutorials (because I don't wear any, allergies) and brand-focused content. I just bought two second hand brand dresses but they are the only ones I will own and I'm not planning on getting more anytime soon. So it's reviews, OotDs, DIY videos and any other lolita-related I feel like doing. Do check the video out and request or leave comments. :D

This is the last lolita project... We were supposed to answer four questions: What lolita means to me, how do I feel while wearing lolita, what fascinated me about lolita and what to say to someone whose not comfortable with wearing lolita? Answers to these are in the video. :)

Tämä oli todella hauska rojekti ja kun olin tämän kuvannut, kuvasin videon myös omalle kanavalleni. Editointi on vielä kesken, mutta linkkaan sen tänne pian!

This was really fun to take part in, and as I filmed this video, I filmed one for my own channel. Editing is still in progress, but I'll link it here soon!

Anime favourites of the season

Tylsä animepostaus, saa ohittaa jos niin haluaa ^^ Selittelen vähän mitä sarjoja katson tällä hetkellä ja miksi pidän niistä.

A boring anime post, you can skip this if you wish ^^ I talk a bit about what I watch now and why I like them.

Aloitetaan vaikka raskaasta päästä? Tokyo Ghoul kertoo pojasta, joka vähän aikaa sitten oli ihminen, mutta häneen siirretään ghoulin elimiä ja nyt hän voi elämää molempien elämää. Sarjassa on paljon verta, välivaltaa, pahuutta ja inhottavia asioita mitkä ruokkii poikamaista puoltani. Ensimmäisen ja toisen jakson toivottomuus tuntuu todella aidolta.

Lets start with the heaviest, shall we? Tokyo Ghoul is about a boy, who was a human but had ghoul organs transplanted to him and now can live in both worlds. This has a lot of blood, violence and everything nasty and evil that feeds my tomboy heart. The hopelessness of the first or two episodes really feels real.

Toinen tämän kauden sarjoista on niin hupsu että rakastan sitä xD Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun kertoo ytöstä, joka on rakastunut shoujo-mangaa piirtävään poikaan, ja he tapaavat kaikenlaisia outoja ihmisiä ja tekevät hassuja juttuja. Tämä on aika slice of life -tyylinen sarja, mitään ei oikeasti tapahdu mutta silti nauraa räkätän jokaista jaksoa. Tämä on hyvä kevyt "nollaus"sarja kaiken raskaamman animen ja kauhuleffojen välillä.

Second pick of the season is a show so silly I love it xD Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun is about a girl who is in love in a boy who writes shoujo manga, and they meet all kinds of crazy people and do silly things. It a pretty slice of life kind show, nothing really happens but I laugh my ass off every episode. This is a good "palette-cleanser" between heavier shows and horror movies and all the other things I love.

Rakastan Sword Art Onlinea niin paljon (lonkeropornoineen ja "rakastan sua oniichan" ja muine sotkuine päivineen) joten odotin toiselta kaudelta paaaljon. Räiskinnät eivät kuitenkaan ole mun juttu, ja kolme jaksoa katsottuani sarja alkaa jotenkin hitaasti eikä ole ihan mitä odotin. Sillä on hyvät puolensa, mutta odotan että kaikki jaksot tulevat ja maratoonaan sarjan kerralla - ehkä saan siitä enemmän irti sillä tavalla. Mielenkiintoinen, aion katsoa, mutta myöhemmin.

I love Sword Art Online so much (even with the tentacle porn and "I love my oniichan" and all the other hot mess) so I had biiig hopes for the second season. However, shooters are not my thing, and having watched three episodes, the show just starts slowly and isn't quite what I expected. It has its points, but I'll wait that it's complete to marathon the rest - maybe it will make more sense to me that way. Interesting, will watch, but I'll finish it later.

Ja taas toiseen ääripäähän! Love Stage kertoo näyttelijästä joka rakastuu tyttöön kun he ovat vielä lapsia ja pitää tyttöä sydämessään. Kun hänelle vuosia myöjemmin selviää että hänen unelmiensa tyttö onkin poika, hän ei muuta mieltään - mutta tunteiden kohde ei tunne samoin. Mun mielestä sarjan parhautta on sen täysi pöhköys ja sivuhenkilöt (Shougo~!), kun (spoiler alert) romanssi ei oikein etene mihinkään. Jälleen kevyt, hupsu ja lyhyt sarja.

And again to the other end of the spectrum! Love Stage is about an actor who falls in love with a cute girl when they're still kids, and holds on to the crush. When he years later finds out the girls of his dream is a boy, he won't change his mind - but the cute boy doesn't feel the same. To me the best parts are the simple silliness and the side characters (Shougo~!), as the (spoiler alert) romance isn't quite going anywhere. Again a silly light-hearted, short show.

Kyokai No Kanata on vähän vanhempi sarja, mutta on yksi kaikkien aikojen lemppareistani. Sarja kertoo demoista jotka elävät ihmisten keskellä, ja se on täynnä actionia, käänteitä, upeita hahmoja ja siinä on vain yksi (todella hauska) filleri - kaikki muu on nopeatempoista mahtavuutta. Upea sarja, katson uudelleen.

Kyokai no Kanata is a bit older show, but it's one of my all-time favourites. It's about demons living among humans, it's full of action, twists, awesome characters and has only one (hilarious) filler episode - all the rest is fast-pased awesomeness. Ten out of ten will watch again.

Lolita project: Outfit for under 150$

Tällä viikolla oli tehtävänä näyttää asu, minkä kokonaishinta on alle 150 dollaria. Ensimmäinen ajatukseni oli luonnollisesti näyttää jotai  itsetehtyä, mutta sain toisen ajatuksen. Koska kaikilla ei ole välineitä, taitoa tai halua tehdä itse, näytän asun, missä kaikki on ostettu joko uutena tai käytettynä "normikaupoista" tai netistä. Tällä näytän että budjetti-lolita on mahdollista ilman mitään muokkausta tai näpertelyä.

This week we were supposed to show an outfit for under 150$. Naturally my first thought was to show something hand-made, but I had another idea. Because not everyone have the equipment, skill or desire to make things, I'll show an outfit where everything is bought new or second hand from "normal stores" or the internet. This shows that you can be a budget lolita without having to modify any items.

Hattu, paita ja kengät kirpparilta, hame Bodyline (ostin sen käytettynä mutta listaan tänne myyntihinnan), laukku ja sukkikset ebay, korut normikaupoista. Hatun ruusut ovat kaupanpäälisiä hameesta ja Surface Spelliltä, ne ovat vain klipsuilla kiinni eli irroitettavissa.

Hat, blouse and shoes are thrifted, skirt from Bodyline (I bought it second hand but listed the retail price here), bag and tights ebay, jewelry from normal stores. The roses on the hat were freebies from the skirt and Surface Spell, they're just clipped on so I can take them off.

Sin City: A Dame to Kill for

Kävin pitkästä aikaa kaverin kanssa syömässä kiinalaista ja käytiin leffassa, halusin ehdottomasti nähdä uuden Sin Cityn! Ja oli muuten hyvä :D Sen kummemmitta spoilereitta, jos tykkäsit ykkösestä, tykkäät myös tästä. 3D kyllä pilasi kokemusta, tulipahan kokeiltua että ei vieläkään ole mun juttu.

It's been a while but I went to eat Chinese food with a friend, and I absolutely wanted to see the new Sin City! And boy it was good :D Without spoilers, if you liked the first one, you'll like this as well. 3D quite spoiled the experience, but at least I tried and no, it's still not my thing.

Ja koska leffa oli mikä oli, pitihän sitä pukeutua Micky Rourken / Marvin kunniaksi maihareihin, "batmanviittaan" ja punaista luurankoa lukuunottamatta kokomustaan. Osa-aikagootin sydäntä lämmittää kummasti pukeutua pitkästä aikaa näin. Kuva salamalla koska kello oli kymmenen kun olin kotona, ja jestas se tekee mut kalpean näköiseksi. ^^'

And the movie being what it was, in honor of Micky Rourke / Marv I had to wear combat boots, "batman cape" and in all black except the red skeleton. As a part-time goth it really warmed my heart to dress like this again. The flash was necessary because I was home at 10pm, and my gosh it makes me look pale. ^^'

Mentiin tosiaan lauantaina töiden jälkeen, keskiviikkona on seuraava vapaapäivä ja sitten takana onkin seitsemän työpäivän putki :D Hyvä vaan että töitä riittää, postista kolahti auton vakuutuslasku...

We went on Satrday after I got off from work, my next free day in Wednesday and then I've done seven work days in a row :D It's good to have work, because the post man gave me a lovely insurance bill for the car...
